We focus our research on congenital disorders of erythropoiesis, especially anemias due to disrupted iron homeostasis (IRIDA, SA). We have contributed to the description and characterization of the first human mutation in DMT1. Currently, we are studying the link between EPO/EPOR signal transduction and erythroid iron homeostasis.
