The main field of expertise are the disorders of iron metabolism, both iron deficiency, both iron overload genetic and secondary. Erythropoietin response to anemia in different clinical conditions have been and are studied by dott.ssa Ricerca Diagnosis and treatment of congentital forms of anemia are other area of interest.
