The Curriculum in Iron Metabolism & Related Disorders

The Curriculum in Iron Metabolism & Related Disorders is an activity designed for haematologists, medical oncologists, haematology-oncology specialists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the screening, evaluation, treatment, and management of adults and children with iron overload, resulting from the spectrum of chronic iron overload diseases.

This educative Programme is an initiative led by the European School of Haematology (ESH), with the participation of international medical and research leaders, including several ENERCA partners. The activity is designed to provide a series of courses that educate clinicians about identified gaps in their knowledge, including all aspects of iron metabolism, its role in organ function and organ failure, at-risk populations, and management of iron overload.
