Haemoglobin J

Haemoglobin J (Hb J) is a group of abnormal haemoglobin variants with similar electrophoretic characteristics that differ from the normal adult Hb A. Some of the variants may produce haematological abnormalities (anaemia) while others do not result in any clinical disorder.
